Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a contract between you and KUT ("we", "us"). By creating an account, subscribing, or using the service you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use KUT.

KUT is a software tool that takes your existing CV and a job description you provide and produces a tailored version of your CV and an optional cover letter. KUT is a drafting assistant. It does not guarantee interviews, offers, or any specific job outcome.

• You must be at least 16 years old to use KUT.
• Give us accurate account information and keep your login credentials safe.
• You're responsible for everything that happens under your account.

You keep full ownership of your CV, the job descriptions you submit, and the tailored outputs KUT generates for you.

You grant us a limited licence to process that content only to operate the service — generate the tailored CV, display it back to you, and store it in your account until you delete it. See our Privacy Policy for details.

You represent that you have the right to submit the CV content you upload and that it is truthful.

Do not use KUT to:

• Fabricate employment history, credentials, or qualifications you do not have.
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity.
• Submit content that is illegal, infringing, or contains malware.
• Scrape, reverse-engineer, or resell the service without written permission.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any account, system, or data.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules.

• KUT Pro is a monthly subscription at $24/month. It renews automatically until you cancel.
• KUT Lifetime is a one-time payment of $150 with no recurring charges.
• Payments are processed by our third-party payment provider. Prices are in USD and may exclude local taxes.
• You can cancel KUT Pro any time from your account; access continues until the end of the current billing period.

If KUT hasn't measurably helped within your first 14 days on either plan, email hello@kut.app and we'll refund you in full — no forms, no interrogation. After 14 days, subscription payments are non-refundable except where required by law.

KUT uses AI models to generate tailored text. AI-generated content can contain mistakes, awkward phrasing, or subtle inaccuracies. You are the final editor: always review your tailored CV and cover letter before sending it to a recruiter or employer.

You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the CV you send to third parties. KUT is not liable for statements you choose to submit in a job application.

We work hard to keep KUT running, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice. Lifetime plan holders retain access to a working version of the core tailoring feature for as long as we operate KUT.

The KUT name, logo, website, and software are our property. These Terms do not give you any right to use them outside of using the service as intended.

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any guarantees about job outcomes.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to the service is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits or lost opportunities.

You can close your account any time. We can suspend or terminate your account for breach of these Terms or prolonged inactivity. On termination, your right to use the service ends immediately; sections that by their nature should survive (IP, disclaimers, liability limits) will survive.

We may update these Terms as the product and law evolve. If changes are material, we'll notify you by email or in-product before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
