1. Extract the job's real keywords

Paste the job description into a plain text editor and highlight every noun and verb that repeats two or more times. Those are the terms the applicant tracking system (ATS) is scoring you on — not the fluffy adjectives in the "About us" paragraph. Focus on: hard skills, tool names, methodologies, certifications, and the exact job title.

2. Map keywords to your existing experience

For each keyword, find one bullet on your CV that already proves it. If a keyword has no match, don't invent one — reframe an adjacent bullet or drop it. Recruiters spot fabricated experience in the first interview question.

3. Rewrite bullets in the job's language
